22-year-old Kodi Lee is going after his dreams by competing on America’s Got Talent.
Kodi is blind and autistic, but he doesn’t let either of these conditions keep him from doing what he loves—music.
With the help of his mom, Tina, the young artist positioned himself at a piano on stage in front of judges and a live audience on Tuesday night.
What happened next was a truly historical moment for the show.
Kodi stunned viewers with his phenomenal voice and piano playing, bringing the judges to tears.
New judge Gabrielle Union didn’t hesitate before giving the 22-year-old a golden buzzer which means he will go straight to the finals.
Even Simon Cowell was overwhelmed by Kodi’s talent.
“I’m going to remember this for the rest of my life,” Simon Cowell said.
Celebrities viewing at home were also moved by the performance.

This made me tear up, especially considering I have an autistic brother who they said would never graduate with a high school diploma (rather only get a certificate), yet he showed the world just how capable he was, just like this young man. ?? https://t.co/7QqbRsg0PX
