Every kid has a love/hate relationship with the first day of school. On one hand, summer vacation is over, and now homework takes the place of pool dives. On the other hand, it’s a chance for kids to wear their back back-to-school clothes and see their friends in the hallways. But for kids who have trouble making friends, school can be rough. Luckily, this young boy has gone viral because he just wants to ease that social stress for his classmates.

WCNC in Georgia has the scoop on everyone’s newest best friend. Blake Rajahn, who is 6, rocked a bright orange t-shirt that reads “I will be your friend” to his first day of school. In the photo, he’s smiling happily while showing off his new shirt. Hearts melted everywhere.

I have to brag on my son. I told him that as a back to school gift, I will make him any shirt he would like. It could...

According to his mom, Nikki, he requested the shirt himself. She owns a personalization company called Unfading Adornments, and offered to make Blake a shirt of whatever he wanted as a back-to-school gift. “He said ‘will you please make me a shirt that says ‘I will be your friend’ for all the kids who need a friend to know that I am here for them?'” she wrote on Facebook, where the post went viral for very obvious reasons.

Blake told WCNC that “I want to make sure that kids that are bullied know they have a friend already,” and his mother explained that he’d also dealt with social difficulty in school. Is it possible feel your heart breaking and swelling with love at the same time? Because that’s exactly how we feel.

The internet now loves Blake, and voiced their support for this friendly kiddo and are wanting shirts of their own. In an update, Nikki wrote that she’s sold the shirt to others, and that proceeds for the $15 shirt will go to the Real Life Center.  As for Blake, he’s dealing with his new viral fame by being the sweet kid he is. “He said, “Oh good! Now more and more people are going to have more and more friends!” wrote Nikki. Folks wanting to purchase the shirt are instructed to DM Unfading Adornments on Facebook.

Y'all. Ever since I posted about my son and his shirt, I have sold some and told Blake about it. He said, "Oh good! Now...
