Professor Hailed For Her Kindness After Carrying Student’s Baby On Her Back During Class

Teachers do so much for their students, but sometimes they still surprise you. A college professor from Georgia named Dr. Ramata Sissoko Cissé is being hailed for her selflessness after a photo emerged of her carrying a student’s baby on her back during class when the student couldn’t find a babysitter.

Dr. Sissoko Cissé is 51 and teaches at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Georgia and her daughter Anna shared the image on Twitter.

In the tweet, Anna called her mother her “role model” and explained the situation that led to Sissoko Cissé carrying the child.

When the student couldn’t find a babysitter and had to bring her baby to class Sissoko Cissé carried the child on her back during the three-hour biology lecture, even feeding it, so that her student could take notes.

People found Sissoko Cissé’s act very inspiring and voiced their support, with some of her students even chiming in.

Talk about going above and beyond.
