Reaching your 100th birthday is worthy of celebration no matter what. After all, when you’ve lived that much life, each new year is a celebration. One woman had an especially special 100th birthday thanks to a message from her favorite celebrity.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson sent a 100-year-old fan a video message for her birthday and made her celebration super special.
Marie Grover has been a huge fan of The Rock for years.
So, her granddaughter and her granddaughter’s best friend, Jamie Klinger, made it their mission to get The Rock to celebrate the milestone birthday with Marie. Jamie reached out to The Rock’s publicist and tweeted about it, but before the publicist even had a chance to get back to her, The Rock stepped in himself to offer his help.
What?? First I’m hearing of this! Who’s turning 100? Beautiful age! What do you need, Jamie?

The Rock filmed a birthday message for Marie, and Marie’s family filmed her reaction as she watched it on her big day.

In the video, The Rock sings the birthday song and speaks directly to Marie.
He says, “I’m sending you so much love and a huge congratulations on 100 years. What an amazing life.” Marie responds, “Love you right back, you Rock, you!”
After Jamie shared Marie’s reaction to The Rock’s video, The Rock retweeted it and wrote, “Love seeing this. Happy 100th Grandma Grover! I’m honored you’re a fan and grateful you were born! Much love, Rock. (Wish my grandma was still around, but stuff like this is always the best part of fame).”
