While the coronavirus vaccines have offered the world a glimmer of hope in what seemed like a never-ending pandemic, it seems as though large family gatherings will still be discouraged for quite some time. During the holiday season, though, Zoom is offering the ability to virtually talk with family members without the usual 40-minute time limit.

The go-to-meeting space for families as well as companies is offering the opportunity for families that celebrate the last days of Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, or New Years’ Eve to call up their loved ones and virtually spend the holidays together.

The days in which Zoom is offering unlimited meetings are as follows:

December 17 starting @ 10 AM EST to December 19 ending at 6 AM EST.

December 23 starting @ 10 AM EST to December 26 ending at 6 AM EST.

December 30 starting @ 10 AM EST to January 2 ending at 6 AM EST.

The restriction lift is happening all around the world so it doesn’t matter where your family is, you can call them for as long as you want.

Zoom has also enhanced their meeting experience with a few fixes. One includes protecting your meetings from unwanted guests. They are requiring a passcode for each room and waiting rooms where people have to be accepted into the meetings.

Another new feature is being able to download backgrounds that are perfect for getting everyone’s family into the holiday spirit.

Enjoy being able to speak for as long as you want on Zoom during the holiday season.
