Ryan Reynolds, Diddy, And David Beckham Pledge $1 Million To Bartenders After Mixing Gross Cocktails In Quarantine

Having a cocktail mixed by an expert just hits differently. Alcoholic drinks made at home just aren’t the same. Ryan Reynolds knows it, Sean “Diddy” Combs knows it, and David Beckman knows it. That’s why they want to help.

In a new pledge video, the stars all share their woes of having to mix their own drinks, an act they wish they could 86, expressing how much they miss the talents of a good bartender.

“This tastes like ass-feet,” said Combs, as he winces and spits out his homemade cocktail.

So, the stars have pledged $1 million to help bartenders stay afloat. The large donation will officially come from spirits company Diago, which hosts Reynolds’ Aviation American Gin, Diddy’s DeLeón Tequila, and Beckham’s Haig Club Whiskey.

The money will be divided between three groups that have helped bartenders facing financial hardship: Another Round, Another Rally (U.S.);  Bartender’s Benevolent Fund (Canada); and Drinks Trust UK
