In February, Brian Quercia had a picture-perfect marriage proposal planned for his girlfriend Anna Davis. He had picked a gorgeous ring, and picked an ideal proposal location—North Beach in Tybee Island, Georgia.
Quercia got down on one knee, while Taylor Brown Photography captured the beautiful, life-changing moment.
Davis accepted his proposal and when Quercia went to place the ring on her finger, he opened the ring box, and to his surprise, the ring suddenly vanished.
According to CNN, bride-to-be Davis thought that her fiancé was playing a practical joke on her.
“At first I kind of didn’t believe him… I had only seen it for a couple of seconds.”Anna Davis
The couple took to a Tybee Island Facebook page, in hopes of finding the missing ring.
Thanks to an online stranger, the ring was found and returned to the couple only a day later.
Much to the couple’s surprise, a man identified only as “Mr. Foy” responded after just a 20-minute search in the area of the proposal. A friend of Foy’s then directly messaged Davis with a picture of the ring to confirm it was the right one.
The couple are currently looking to book at wedding venues in Savannah, Georgia, where they met.
