The victims, six of whom were women of Asian-descent, have been identified as Soon Chung Park, 74, Hyun Jung Grant, 51, Suncha Kim, 69, Yong Ae Yue, 63, Delaina Ashley Yuan, 33, Paul Andre Michels, 54, Xiaojie Yan, 49, and Daoyou Feng, 44. Robert Aaron Long, 21, has been identified as the shooter and is currently facing eight counts of murder.

Since the onset of the COVID pandemic a year ago, Asian-Americans have been targeted in nearly 3,800 hate incidents, as reported by the New York Times.

Stallion denounced the hate and racism on her Instagram and shared that she is partnering with others to fight anti-Asian sentiments.

The “Savage” rapper is teaming up with Fashion Nova Cares and activist May Lee to donate $50,000 to Advancing Justice, an Atlanta-based nonprofit dedicated to the civil rights of AANHPI in Georgia.

“To honor the memory of these victims, @FashionNova and I have partnered with the journalist and Asian activist @mayleeshow on a $50,000 donation to @advancing_justice_atl who work tirelessly to protect the civil and human rights of Asian Americans in Georgia and the Southeast…

We stand in solidarity with all Asian Americans in saying that enough is enough. #StopAsianHate #StandWithAANHPICommunity.”

Caring is cool and Megan Thee Stallion will continue to do hot girl s***.
