Cookies are sweet, but revenge cookies are even sweeter.

Confections, a bakery based in Lufkin, Texas, was not expecting a negative response when they posted an arrangement of rainbow cookies to their social media feed.

In a Facebook post, the owners explained the backlash they initially faced.

They wrote, “We received a very hateful message on our business page canceling a large order (5dz) of summer themed cookies for tomorrow morning (that we just finished decorating) because of a rainbow heart cookie we posted.”

Now, thousands of supporters are coming out of the woodworks and the small business is overwhelmed and struggling to keep up with the high demand for cookies.

As a matter of fact, they’ve been selling out completely of their products.

According to the Confections team, a number of customers offered to donate money after they realized that there were no baked goodies. Co-owner Miranda Dolder announced that they have donated more than $600 to Blue Collar Mutts Rescue, a local animal shelter.

The bakery also has plans to coordinate a donation schedule and to send cookies to retirement and nursing homes for Father’s Day, as reported by CNN.

Thanks for the boosted business, backward-ass haters.
